A Montford Performance that CAN’T be Missed!

Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands

Shindig on the Green

It’s time to bring out your sweet talking fiddles and hopping clogging shoes – some of Asheville’s finest bluegrass is coming your way! Bamboo Festival at the NC Arboretum

There is nothing more exciting than a bamboo festival to bring the peaceful essence of Japan to your mountain vacation in Asheville. From July 9th to July 10th, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., be sure to stop by the NC Arboretum for the 5th annual Bamboo Festival. With hands-on workshops and presentations, regional bamboo nurseries, and plenty of bamboo for sale, you’ll learn everything you need to know about this marvelous plant. Organized by the American Bamboo Society, it’s a treat for all bamboo aficionados and an adventure for those who love exploring the NC Arboretum. You can’t miss it!

Park Rhythms in Black Mountain

After a patriotic weekend of blissful celebration and quality time with family and friends, you’ll definitely want to enjoy some relaxing musical downtime this week.
