Okay, it is now officially spring!! It is of course marked by the Spring Equinox this past Sunday, but here in Asheville there is a major event that marks the first signs of spring: the Pritchard Park drum circle!! Every Friday evening (with the exception of just a few) from 7ish to 10ish in the warmer seasons, rhythmic airwaves vibe through downtown Asheville from Pritchard Park. Young and old gather here to share music, dance, laughs and the all-around goodtime feel that Asheville is known for. March 18 was the first drum circle, so expect a great place to blow off some steam any Friday evening that you are around. Grab a drum and release some tension, or feel the beats in your feet.
