Located, of course, at 5 Walnut Street downtown, this casual bar regularly features live music and also has beers on tap. Just down the block at 85 Walnut Street, Zamba has hundreds of wines to choose from, and also serves absinthe. Zambra, a tapas restaurant serving contemporary twists on the food of Spain and North Africa, was awarded the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence in 2011.

Battery Park Book Exchange Champagne Bar is a lovely spot in the Grove Arcade offering wine tastings and book signings with over eighty different wines and champagnes on their menu and cozy leather chairs for reading, plus dogs are always welcome! Sante Wine Bar, also on the Grove Arcade block, is for both the connoisseur and the layman, boasting an oft-changing menu of bottles from around the world, and offering half-pours so you can create your own tasting flight, or choose their Flight of the Month. They're hosting a GRINCH PARTY on December 23rd!
