The bulbs are blooming here in Asheville, NC and Easter is next weekend!! It is a beautiful time for a family retreat and we have many weekend celebrations for this special time.
First, you can find a church almost anywhere in town, and you can start with a church search
if you are looking for a particular denomination. Most any will be offering some sort of Easter celebration.
Lake Junaluska has an annual Easter 5k & 10K run and walk on April 3rd, which includes a day of egg painting and hunting, and then they offer breakfast and brunch on the 4th.
Just in time for the kick-off of the Festival of Flowers, Biltmore Estate offers a day of fun for the whole family! Easter egg hunts, pictures with the Easter Rabbit, children's music and storytelling... all takes place on Sunday, April 4. Then you parents can stop for a wine tasting or take a tour yourself!
